40th Anniversary of Shenzhen’s Reform and Opening Up

As China’s first Special Economic Zone, Shenzhen has created the world-renowned “Shenzhen Speed.” To celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up and the 38th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the city launched a comprehensive outdoor lighting enhancement initiative in 2018. This project aimed to further improve the urban environment, enhance overall competitiveness, build a beautiful Shenzhen, and create a livable and business-friendly environment. It was a tribute to the nation, the era of reform and opening-up, and the tireless efforts of the hardworking people.
