Changzhou Tianning Pagoda

Changzhou Tianning Temple is a key protected temple in China, originally built during the Tang Dynasty’s Zhenguan and Yonghui periods. It is the largest and most well-preserved ancient temple in Changzhou, with a history spanning over a thousand years. The Tianning Pagoda, located within the temple, was constructed in 2002 and is adorned with 1,000 tons of copper decorations, featuring unparalleled copper sculpture artistry. Known as a “Tower of Prosperity, Culture, and Legacy,” the Tianning Pagoda stands at 153.79 meters, making it the tallest Buddhist pagoda in the world. EXC provided intelligent control modules for the project, enabling smart control of the electrical systems, including remote intelligent control, remote meter reading, mode settings, and status monitoring, ensuring stable operation of the project. As a sacred site for blessings, the pagoda is a tribute to Longcheng (Changzhou). The project was awarded the First Prize of the 2021 China Lighting Award.
