Liaoning Shenyang Metro Line 2

Shenyang Metro Line 2 is the second metro line in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, to be completed and operational. It officially opened on December 30, 2011, with orange as its identifying color. The line runs from Taoxian Airport Station in the south to Putian Road Station in the north, following a north-south route and passing through Shenbei New District, Huanggu District, Shenhe District, Heping District, and Hunnan District. The total length of Shenyang Metro Line 2 is 47 kilometers, with 33 stations, all of which are underground. The trains on this line consist of 6-car B2-type trains. On September 29, 2023, the southern extension of Shenyang Metro Line 2 was opened to the public.
