Nighttime illumination of the cityscape in Haikou

To significantly enhance the urban landscape and lay a solid foundation for developing an international riverside and coastal garden city, Haikou launched the first phase of its city nighttime illumination project in December 2016, using the PPP model. The project focuses on creating a “Two Axes, Two Belts, Eight Zones, Multiple Nodes” urban lighting system, with EXC supporting Haikou in its city illumination efforts. Centered around the Haikou Bay area, the project highlights the city’s coastal gateway and extends along Binhai Avenue, Longkun Road, Changdi North Road, and Guoxing Avenue, with key nodes at Haikou Railway Station, Haikou High-Speed Railway Station, and Meilan International Airport, creating a layered and prominent urban nighttime scene.
