The BRICS Summit in Xiamen

From September 3 to 5, 2017, the 9th BRICS Summit was successfully held in Xiamen. In preparation for the summit, Xiamen launched the BRICS-themed lighting project titled “Golden Silk Road, Colorful Xiamen.” With its international charm, the brightly lit Guanyin Mountain, the dazzling Lujiang Avenue, the bustling Zhongshan Road, the culturally rich Jimei School Village, the majestic Dongdu Port, the radiant Haicang Bay, and the vibrant Xiang’an coastline all became new landmarks of the city. Upon completion, this project became Xiamen’s new city card. When night falls and the sea breeze gently blows, the entire city of Xiamen is illuminated, shining like a brilliant pearl embedded in the southeast of the motherland.
