The SCO Summit in Qingdao

In preparation for the Qingdao Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, and in line with the “Beautiful Qingdao Initiative,” the city launched a nightscape lighting enhancement project. In October 2017, the Qingdao City Administration Bureau took the lead in establishing the Nightscape Lighting Enhancement Command Center, officially initiating the planning and construction of urban lighting. They developed an overall design plan for the city’s lighting enhancement and oversaw, coordinated, and organized the implementation of the city’s nightscape lighting improvement efforts.
